What I do at the Counseling Center: As a doctoral intern at the BUCC, I spend much of my time meeting with students for individual and group therapy. I also supervise graduate student clinicians and participate in outreach and engagement across campus.

How long I’ve been at Baylor: I joined the Baylor Counseling Center in August 2026.

What I’m passionate about: I am most interested in helping students make sense of themselves with a little more depth and a little less judgment. Sometimes that means working through anxiety, relationships, trauma, identity, self-worth, or major life transitions, and sometimes it means starting with the much less specific feeling that something is just not working the way you want it to. I enjoy getting to know the whole person in front of me, and I tend to be curious about the patterns underneath what we do, how our experiences and relationships have shaped us, and the ways we can understand ourselves intellectually while still finding change surprisingly difficult.

A little about me: Outside of the Counseling Center, I am a longtime gamer with a special love for fantasy RPGs, and I have recently been getting more into watching anime. Coffee has become a daily necessity, and I love food, cooking, and somewhat inexplicably, grocery shopping more than any other kind of shopping. I also enjoy making faux floral arrangements when I am feeling creative. I am always happy to hear a good recommendation for a game, anime, coffee spot, or somewhere worth eating!
